Course 1

Real Estate Principles

The course will be 3 weeks long. There will be two classes per week. Each class will be 2 hours/ 120 minutes. There will be a total of 12 hours / 720 minutes of live lecture for this course. The course will be a total of 45 hours.

This is a core course to become a realtor. This course covers the basic principles, economic aspects, and laws of real estate needed to obtain a real estate license and/or for better management of personal investments.

Course 2

Real Estate Practice

This course utilizes Rockwell's California Real Estate Practice 2015 7th Edition. This textbook presents a selection of working examples covering issues pertaining to real property estates, vestings, disputes involving neighboring properties, water rights, and restrictions on property use. Also discussed are property title conditions and insurance, conveyancing, involuntary liens, the enforcement of real estate rights and remedies for financial recovery in a transaction gone awry. Special emphasis is placed on influential court cases which shape legal aspects of real estate.

This is a core course to become a realtor. It covers all information necessary for practice of actual transactions including agency relationship, property disclosures, preparing and negotiating offers and closing the transaction. It also covers financing programs and loan qualifying.

Legal Aspects of Real Estate

This course utilizes Rockwell's California Real Estate Law 2016 4th Edition. This textbook presents a selection of working examples covering issues pertaining to real property estates, vestings, disputes involving neighboring properties, water rights, and restrictions on property use. Also discussed are property title conditions and insurance, conveyancing, involuntary liens, the enforcement of real estate rights and remedies for financial recovery in a transaction gone awry. Special emphasis is placed on influential court cases which shape legal aspects of real estate.

This course emphasizes the fundamental foundations related to legal disputes and regulation of real estate licenses.
